Associate of Science – Engineering

Program Description

This program is designed to allow students who are interested in obtaining an engineering degree the opportunity to get the first two years done at the tribal college. Several engineering programs have similar courses in their curriculum over the first two years, so the curriculum for this program is designed to highlight as many areas as possible to ease the transfer to a four-year program. The goal is to mentally prepare students for success in Bachelor of Science engineering programs by teaching academic lessons as well as study habits.

Learning Outcomes

Students will show:

An ability to apply knowledge of mathematics, sciences, and engineering.

An ability to conduct experiments, as well as to analyze and interpret data.

An ability to identify, formulate, and solve engineering problems.

An understanding of professional and ethical responsibility.

An ability to use the techniques, skills, and modern engineering tools necessary for professional practice.
