The Turtle Mountain Language Project is a grant-funded initiative through the Administration for Native Americans (ANA). The purpose of the Turtle Mountain Language Project is to work toward Ojibwe language revitalization efforts in and around the Turtle Mountain area.
1. To increase the number of fluent speakers within the Turtle Mountain Community through a Master-Apprentice program.
2. To create language materials for use within the community.
3. To build a preschool language curriculum.
