The TMCC Teacher Education Department is now accepting applications for the Teachers of Tomorrow Introduction to Education Summer Intensive Program. Current Juniors and Seniors from Belcourt High School, St. John High School, and Dunseith High School are encouraged to apply.
The Teachers of Tomorrow Summer Program is designed to provide current high school juniors and seniors with an immersive and exciting experience that will give you a taste of what it’s like to work as a teacher. During this program, you will:
- Learn from experienced educators and TMCC faculty members who will provide you with insights into the teaching profession and the skills you will need to succeed.
- Engage in hands-on activities that will give you a taste of what it’s like to work with students in a classroom setting.
- Connect with other like-minded students who share your passion for teaching and learning.
- Gain a deeper understanding of the TMCC Teacher Education program and the career opportunities that are available to you after graduation.
- Obtain 3 college credits (Intro to Education).
- Receive a generous stipend for completing the program!
