Jessica Ahrendt is a licensed attorney in North Dakota having received her J.D. from the University of North Dakota School of Law. While in law school, Jessica focused on tribal and public interest law. During law school, she worked with the White Earth Band of Ojibwe as a law clerk concentrating on writing codes for the tribe including the probate, corporate, and predatory offender codes.

In 2006, Jessica worked as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Turtle Mountain Tribal Court in addition to her teaching with the Turtle Mountain Community College. Jessica has also worked as a Law Clerk with the East Central Judicial District in Fargo and in private practice in Valley City.

Jessica currently teaches Criminal Law and Legal Research and has taught Family law for the past two years during the spring semester.
