Carmelita Lamb is the project director for Native Ways of Knowing, a program sponsored by the National Science Foundation, Washington, D.C. This grant operates from the Turtle Mountain Community College, and is in partnership with Ft. Berthold Community College, Newtown, ND, and Cankdeska Cikana Community College, Ft. Totten, ND. Carmelita is ABD status in her doctoral career and intends to write her mixed methods research dissertation on learning communities within teacher education professional degree plans offered at tribal colleges.
