Network Systems
The Associate in Applied Science in Computer Support Specialist with an emphasis in Network Systems provides students with background knowledge and skills required for learning the specific tasks and industry recognized standards associated with computer networks administration. The student will develop skills and knowledge required to perform local area network administration and management. This program also prepares students to complete the required certification tests for Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA).
Network & Data Communication
The Associate in Applied Science in Computer Support Specialist with an emphasis in Network and Data Communications provides students with background knowledge and skills required for learning the specific tasks and industry recognized standards associated with Network and Data Communication. The technical curriculum trains students to install, configure, and operate LAN, WAN, dial access services for networks, including, but not limited to, use of these protocols: IP, IGRP, IPX, Serial, AppleTalk, Frame Relay, IP, RIP, VLANs, RIP, Ethernet, and Access Lists. This program also prepares students to complete the required certification tests for Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
Web Developer
The Associate in Applied Science in Computer Support Specialist with an emphasis in Web Developer provides students with background knowledge and skills required for learning the specific tasks and industry recognized standards associated with web development. The technical curriculum trains students for various positions in the field of web development; including web design, web multimedia design, and web site maintenance.
