Mr. Gene La Fromboise is an enrolled member of the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa and has been in the field of education since 1974. He has worked as a classroom teacher, basketball coach, counselor and school administrator. He has been employed at a variety of schools including, Belcourt, Dunseith, White Shield, Fort Yates, and Trenton. His professional objective has been to get students to believe in themselves and to put forth their best effort to achieve their goals and dreams. Mr. La Fromboise received his Bachelor’s Degree in Social and Behavioral Sciences from the University of Mary, and a Master’s Degree from the University of North Dakota.
