Bernice Delorme has a B.S. in Business Administration, an M.S.W. in Social Work, a J.D. with a certification in Indian Law, and an L.L.M. in Taxation. She is admitted to practice law in North Dakota, New Mexico and Washington. She is a Turtle Mountain Tribal member and graduated from Turtle Mountain Community High School in 1970. She has worked on behalf of tribal governments for many years, and currently serves as the General Counsel for the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians.
She is the mother of three beautiful daughters, and a grandmother of 9 grandchildren. She is married to William Kenneth and resides in Belcourt, North Dakota. She teaches Federal Indian Law, Constitutional Law and Tribal Code Development, Business Law, Contracts, Law School Admissions. She also coaches Moot Court.
