Lyle Poitra has worked in various positions at the Turtle Mountain Community College since 1983 including Financial Aid Assistant, Student Support Counselor/Director, Title III Activity Director, Student Literacy Corps Director, Director of the Center for New Growth and Economic Development, and Institutional Development Director.
Lyle has specialized training in: the Art of Grantsmanship I & II, provided by RJS and Associates; Strategic Planning, provided by RJS and Associates; Proposal Writing, provided by the National Council of Educational Opportunity, and; Evaluation Methods, provided by the National Council of Educational Opportunity.
Lyle has successfully written grants to the following agencies and foundations:
